I noticed that some of the grooves in the molds are tight, others a little loose.

Is it true that block molds provide better saponification?

Most CP formulas DO require liner paper.

If using Liner Paper, apply a thin layer of Vegetable Shortening to the inner surface before applying Liner Paper. This provides excellent adhesion.

Cut multiples of your liner. This saves a great deal of time and makes lining easy and just another enjoyable part of being a HandCrafter.
